Naan Bread Recipe
Naan bread is a very popular side dish that we eat with the beautiful curries from India! This side dish is a delicious bread cooked in a fire oven. There are so many different flavours to choose from, and we most definitely love to dip it in our butter chicken!
Your job is to watch the provided video and write out the recipe for it. Try make sure that you get all of the ingredients, as well as write out the steps that need to be taken to make it.

1. Bowl
2. Yeast
3. Sugar
4. Salt
5. Lukewarm water
6. Plate
7. White flour
8. Yogurt
9. Oil
10. Water
11. pan | 1. Take a small bowl
2. Put yeast inside bowl (one tsp of yeast)
3. Then apply sugar inside bowl with the yeast (also one tsp)
4. Then apply salt inside bowl (1/4 tsp)
5. Then add Lukewarm water (1/4 cup)
6. Then stir it with a spoon
7. Put a plate on top of bowl and rest for 5 mins
8. Right after you put that aside grab a plate and tip some white flour onto the plate (one cup)
9. Next add some yogurt to the plate (1/4 cup)
10. Right after add some oil one tpsp
11. Then mix with your hands until looks like some kind of dou
12. Then grab the mixture you made before pore it in for a two times
13. Then add some more white flour(½ cup)
14. Then mix with your hand again
15. Then grease the top then place a paper towel and then put on a lid on and wait
16. Make sure it not sticky then knead it well
17. Roll it into 4 little balls
18. Then grab a chopping board place one of the balls onto the chopping board
19.And then roll it out and put a little water on the top
20. Take the watered side and place it on the pan
21. Tip it out a little bit and there should be a big bump

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this recipe for how to make naan bread. My family were actually talking about naan bread this evening! I agree with you, it looks like a lot of work to make, but I think that I might give it a go at some stage. Well done.
