 First Article) Minnie Mouse gets a new makeover

Did you know that Minnie mouse is getting a new makeover? Usually she wears a red dress with white  polka dots on her dress. But to celebrate Disneyland paris’s 30  th anniversary she is now swapping her red dress with blue a blue blazer and blue trousers . The person who created Minne’s  new makeover is Stella McCartney . It’s not only Minnie's clothes that changed, it is also her shoes and her bow to complete her new look.

Second Article) Tick Tockers make the world's biggest cake pop

Did you know that a pair of tik tokers teamed up in Massachusetts to cook a nearly 50kg cake pop and break a Guinness World Record. TikTok creators Nick DiGiovanni and Lynn Davis, aka Lynja put together the cake which included the following ingredients.It included 32 boxes of cake mix, 5 1/2 cartons of egg mix and many more items. They also said none of it never went to waste.

Kia ora and welcome to my blog. This week we have been learning about Diwali but today we are learning about Fireworks and Guy fawks day. Here are my 4 facts about Fireworks I hope you enjoy and leave a positive comment on my blog.

 How to make samosas

Today  you are going to share instructions on how to create samosas. Watch the video on how to make samosas . You will need to use the video to help you know all of the ingredients and equipment needed to make samosas. You will also need to use the video to help you know the step by step instructions to make samosas. Make sure that your instructions are in the right order and provide enough detail for someone else to follow and create their own samosas. 

Equipment: Whisk Spoon Wooden spoon Pan Rolling pin Knife Pot

Ingredients: Flour Salt Oil or melted ghee Water 3 boiled potatoes Cumin seeds Crushed Coriander seeds Garam masala Chili powder Turmeric 1 Green chilli Crushed garlic Ginger paste 1  Onion Green peas Lemon juice Crushed cashews Chopped coriander leaves

Instructions: Pour 2 cups of flour in a bowl Add half a teaspoon of salt Mix with a whisk Add 1/4 cup of oil or melted ghee Mix until incorporated Rub the flour with the oil until mixture resembles crumbs Add 1/4 cup of water- Add gradually Than knead until firm dough Cover and let the dough rest for 30 minutes Than get 3 boiled potatoes than roughly chop/ Bolid Add 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan And add 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds Then put 1/2 teaspoon of Garam masala Add 1 teaspoon Chili powder and Turmeric Let cook for 30-60 seconds Finely chop 1 Green chili Add 2-3 cloves of crushed garlic 1 Teaspoon of ginger paste And then add the green chopped chili Cook for 1 minute 1 chopped onion Saute for 3-4 minutes Than add the chopped boiled potatoes in the pan 1 cup of green peas Let it cook Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice 1/4 cup of water Than add salt Cook for 4-5 minutes, Stir frequently with a wooden spoon Add 1/4  crushed cashews 2 tablespoons of chopped coriander leaves  Than let it all cook for a while Then remove from heat and let it cool down Divide the dough into 6-7 equal parts Than shape into balls While working with one ball, keep the remaining balls covered Roll out each ball into an oval Cut it in the middle and brush water  in the middle  Form a cone with the dough Fill the dough with the potato filling Brush the edges with water, then pinch the edges and seal the dough Then repeat with all of the dough Drop the samosas into hot oil, 4-5 pieces at the time Fry for 4-5 minutes, until golden brown Drain on paper towels
