To finish our topic on ‘A World of Difference’ we are going to write a Haiku poem. A Haiku poem is a type of Japanese poem with only 3 lines. Each line has a number of syllables. Syllables are the beats that make up a word. For example, holiday has 3 syllables [Hol-i-day].


Line 1: 5 syllables

Line 2: 7 syllables

Line 3: 5 syllables
