I love netball because it's fun.I love to play netball  with my sisters I sometimes even beat them.I think I am going to play netball next year then I can be a super star netball player and I can play netball when ever I want and I can be famous keep playing netball.

 I like cross country because it involves fitness and fun things.Cross country helps us to be fit and healthy sometimes I like cross country sometimes I don’t.Sometimes I like cross country  because my mum comes and she brings lots of food sometimes I hate 

Cross country because bad things happen to me in the race.

My highlight of 2019 was swimming I like swimming because it’s fun to do.Swimming is 

Amazing I even begged my mum and dad to buy us a swimming pool.And they did but it 

Was a bad idea buying nine kids a swimming pool.

 Athletics was my favorite event because there was a lot of games.And because there was a lot of food to eat.My friend Jada brought a lot of food and I ate like the healthiest burrito ever it was so yummy I liked the chicken and it had some salad dressing.

Skipping rope

Monday 21 of October 2019

Today The Block went out to play a game of skipping rope. We had to play the game so we could write about it. first we all lined up in our team lines.

There was Te Aurere which was my team Hine Moana , Hikianalia  , and Hokule'a. Next we walked on to the netball court and sat down there was a blue bucket. When Ms King pulled a open out of the bucket and we played a game of skipping rope it was easy for me.

Mostly because I play with my sister at home Ms King wiggled the rope. And we had to jump over it the next challenge. Was when you have to get in five groups and wait until on person fails today was a fun day I wish we could do it again.

First we all had to choose our sea creature I choose an Orca some call it a Killer whale. Next we searched information about our sea creature. After that we made a draft poster .Then we made our real poster

Hockey recount

On Thursday, room 21 went out to the netball court to play hockey. First we all ran around the netball
court because we were all cold .Next, Room 21 River and Bank. After that short run, I was out in the 4th
round after that we all got hockey sticks. We were playing a game of hockey. Then the teacher said five
and I whacked the ball into the goal and was about to run all over the netball court and yell out
‘’Goal’’!!!!. When it was my turn again I ran as fast as I could suddenly I crashed to the ground. My leg
felt like it was on fire. And then it felt like blood was dripping on my shoes and on the netball court.
Finally, we all lined up and we all went to class and had our morning tea. Except for the part I fell down.

Cross Country 2019

Yesterday it was cross country day at our school. The whole school sat on the concrete. We heard our house chants. We heard Hikianalia and Hine Moana. After that we had my team,Te Aurere and last was Hokule’a. The first ones to go were the year ones.They zoomed across the field. When it was the year 4 boys turn I was very nervous.

We were next we all went to the field and Mr Somerville had the clappers and clapped. I bolted as fast as I could but when we went through the gates, it was so muddy, that I slowly marched through it. Then I zoomed as fast as I could,  gasping for air, I finally approached Ms King. I was so exhausted. But when I was really near the finish line, I was amazed and proud of myself for finishing the race. 

My legs were covered in mud. I was  breathless. I jogged to go and get a water bottle I drank so much water. I was playing some hand games with Sapphire while we were waiting for the year eight to finish. Sometimes I like cross country and sometimes I hate cross country. Next year  I am not coming to cross country because a lot of unpleasant things happened during the race.

Last week on Monday the Block made sandwich's at make space .make space is a place were you do arts and craft .We made them because they make us good and they feed our brain.First we got our bread then we had to put some ingredients on it. After that we had to put 3 ingredients for our sandwich from the other table .Then we had to go to the 1st  table and get some other stuff there I got crunchy lettuce and cheese then we had to put on plastic on it , some tape then we had to put it in paper then name it .
