Herbaceous plants most often are low growing plants, different from woody plants like trees, and tend to have

soft green stems that lack lignification and their above-ground growth is ephemeral and often seasonal in duration.

→ Fruits and vegetables contain important vitamins, minerals and plant chemicals. They also contain fibre. There are many varieties of fruit and vegetables available and many ways to prepare, cook and serve them.

    Well done for completing this task. Is a cabbage a root vegetable? I think that carrots, turnips and beets are root vegetables. Keep up the great work.
